CTV has specialized in intermodal transport for more than 25 years. We are always trying to combine rail, barge and truck in the best way possible. We find the most efficient intermodal solution for all your containers, aiming to make the last-mile as short as possible.

By reducing the last-mile, we are able to deliver your container on a drop/swap basis. This means that the trailer including container is de-coupled at the warehouse.

A trailer/ container which is already unloaded/ loaded will be picked up to be returned to the empty depot. This concept reduces the number of “empty” km’s and the time pressure to unload/load the container.

All trailers are equipped with modern tracking systems so you will be able to track your container at any moment, even when it is de-coupled at the warehouse.

The big practical advantage for the customer is that CTV will take over all administrative workload and will take care of all steps within the intermodal flow. All you need to do is send us one order and we will make sure your container will be delivered at the destination “just in time”. Using our CTV Control Tower will still give you full control over the status and location of the containers.
